HEART ACTION REVIVED
DURING AN OPERATION. (Received August G, 5.5 p.m.) LONDON, August 6. A youth, 19 years old, died after an operation at Guys Hospital. The evidence at the inquest showed his heart ceased to beat during the operation. Thereupon a surgeon opened the body, and massaged the heart for fifty minutes, which then resumed beating. Tho patient succumbed fourteen hours later.
