THEFT OF A FUR.
MARRIED WOMAN’S OFFENCE. CHRISTCHURCH, August 4. At the Magistrate’s Court to-day, a mother of seven children, whose husband has held his present position for 25 years, pleaded guilty to the theft of a fur valued at twelve guineas. She was admitted to probation and her name suppressed. Medical evidence was given that she was in a state of nervous instability.
