* GALE CONTINUES UNABATED. SYDNEY. July 25. j Torrential rains are recorded in the ! north-east of New South Walt's. Floods [threatened many districts. Splendid ? soaking rains are reported on the wheat belt and exceptionally heavy downpours lin the metropolitan area. There are 'no signs of abatement. Sydney Heads recorded a gale with squalls of eighty miles an hour velocity. The storm caused considerable damage in the lowlying suburbs.
