EX-SOLDIER’S SUICIDE.

JURY’S REPRESENTATION. AV AIR OA, July 2 5. An inquest was held on the body of Franois Croker Stewart, found in Wairoa River yesterday. The jury’s verdict was that there was no evidence to show how the body got into the water. Deceased must have been despondent owing to shell shock in the war and had an incurable crippled arm. The .jury added a recommendation that Government should make better provision for returned men suffering from shell shock.
