AGAINST CINEMA OWNERS. (Received July 25 at 5.5 p.m.) WASHINGTON. July 24. Ihe I .S. Supreme Court has dismissed an indictment charging the owners, builders and the architect of the Knickerbocker <inema Theatre with murder, as rhe result of the tragic collapse of the roof last winter, when many were killed and injured. The Court held the indictment was defective and insufficient because it did not contain the essential facts forming the basis of the alleged offence. An appeal will be taken to the Court of Appeal.
