The fan's from London to Bombay will be: —First-class, £7O; second-class, £55. Monthly return fares will be £9O and £5O respectively. The time- of the journey is to be three and a-half days. The promoters say they only require a subsidy sufficient to return four and a-half per cent interest on their debentures, ;• n<l six per cent on their ordinary shares, both tax free. They suggest that India should contribute £40,000 per annum for ton years.
