— BLAKE’S PROGRESS. LONDON, July 23. Blake reached Sibi in Baluchistan, on Sunday. He w: s unable to reach Quetta owing to mist, and on his return the undercarriage was damaged. He is expected to reach Amballa on Monday. SERVICE TO INDIA. SHELL OLE TRI’ST’S MOVE. There is a definite proposal by the Shell Oil Trust and the Burnley and Vickers Company to promote an air (mail and prssenger) service to India. The fan's from London to Bombay will be: —First-class, £7O; second-class, £55. Monthly return fares will be £9O and £5O respectively. The time- of the journey is to be three and a-half days. The promoters say they only require a subsidy sufficient to return four and a-half per cent interest on their debentures, ;• n<l six per cent on their ordinary shares, both tax free. They suggest that India should contribute £40,000 per annum for ton years.
