The Kamo arrived yesterday morning from Westport and Lyttelton. The vessel is loading coal for Timaru and southern ports, sailing to-day. The Titoki arrived early yesterday morning from Wanganui and loaded

coal for Dargaville for which port she sailed last night. The Regulus arrives to-night from Wellington, Nelson and Westport. She loads coal for Pieton. The Ngakuta is expected to sail todav with a cargo of coal for Wellington. The Orepuki should sail to-morrow for Lyttelton with a cargo of timber. The Progress sails this morning with cargo of coal and timber for Picton. I The Kamona is due to-night from | coastal ports. She loads for WellingI ton. The Kaituna is expected to arrive I this week from New Plymouth to load | timber for Australia. TELEGRAMS.

The hatches were lifted off number three hold of the Arawa this morning. It was discovered that the fire, which had evidently broken out underneath the meat cargo, was extinguished.
