WAR GRAFT.
PROSECUTIONS IN UNITED STATES [A. and N.Z. Cable Association.] WASHINGTON, July 20. Under authority of Congress, the Department of Justice lias begun a prosecution for-war trends. A Special Grand Jury indicted 10 individuals and concerns for conspiring to defraud the Government of $1,800,000 in connection with the sales of surplus lumber left over after the war.
