COURT RETURNS TO NORTH ISLAND. CHRISTCHURCH, July 17. The hearing of tho dispute between the waterside workers and the shipping companies was continued in the Arbitration Court to-day, when the case in connection with the Lyttelton Union was taken. After hearing some, evidence, the proceedings were adjourned to Wellington. Mr Roberts (Secretary of Ihc No" Zealand Waterside Workers’ Fedor t tion) said that ho thought tho Wellington case should be complete 1 Iwforo tho remainder of the Lyttelton case was taken. Mr Smith (for employers) objected to this course. The Wanganui case will bo taken on July 26, and the Wellington case will be resumed on August 28.
