CHIEF POST OFFICE TO BE RESTORED. WESTPORT. July 16. The following communication has been received by the Secretary of Hie Buller Progress League from the Post-master-General: “In reference to your letters dated 22nd ultimo to the Prime Minister and myself containing a resolution passed by your League urging that Westport Post Office be again made the chief office, I have the honour to inform you that it has now been decided to reestablish, th-e Westport Postal District with AVestport as the chief office.
