PAYING ITS WAY. U.S.A. IDEAL WASHINGTON, July 11. President Harding, addressing the budget bureau, emphasised the need for economy, and the necessity to keep the budget within the estimated revenue which for 1924 is 3,108,000,000 dollars. The President said: “Our country is one of the few in the world which is now paying its way. as it goes, and 1 must regard with disfavour any tendencies to interfere with this condition o to increase taxes.”
