WAR GRAVES.
ON GERMAN BATTLEFIELDS. [A. and N.Z. Cable Association.] LONDON, July 10. Mr Shepherd, who has returned from Germany, motored 700 miles and visited all the most important military cemetaries. He was most impressed by the care and attention shown by the Germans in connection with the upkeep of the graves of Allied soldiers; also by the fine layout and beautifull surroundings of the cemetaries generally. Mr Shepherd succeeded in tracing and identifying many Australian graves. He believes that a systematic and prolonged search of the German records will reveal many others.
