Muschamp, Karamea, who has been on a- six weeks’ holiday trip through Canterbury and South Canterbury, returns to Karamea by the Reefton train to-day. Mrs N. Huzzeff, a Reefton native, died at New Plymouth at the ago of 35, leaving a husband and 12 children. She was a daughter of the late Mr E. Bray, once manager of the Keep-it-Dark Mine, and Mrs F. Wills, of Reefton, is a sister. Mr P. McKenzie has tendered his resignation as the Greymouth District | High School representative on the I Technical School Board of Governors, in view of his transfer to Palmerston North. The School Committee last evening accepted the resignation. Messrs Tredinnick and Woodcock, president and secretary of the Westport Watersiders ’ Union, who arrived here last night proceed overlap today to Christchurch to attend a sitting of the Arbitration Court in connection with the making of a. new agreement .for waterside workers.
