THE LEIPZIG TRIALS.
DOCTOR ACQUITTED. BERLIN, July 3. The Leipzig Supreme Court acquitted Michelson, a Berlin doctor, who was accused of ill-treating French prisoners in German hospitals in the war time. The prosecutors demanded a sentence of a year’s imprisonment. This is the first of a fresh batch of war crime trials instituted at the instance of the French and Belgian Government.
