DRINKING AMONG FEMALES. SYDNEY, June 16. The “Daily 'iy.'b'graph, ” describing a round of visits paid to city wine’ bars, says: Despite improvements and tiie sweep away of . many abuses since 6 o’clock closing became operative, these saloons are without a glossing point. They are working a great deal of harm einong women and girls. The paper describes bacchanalian scenes in which drunken women and girls participated.
