FRUITGROWERS’ CONFERENCE.
WELLINGTON. Juno 15. At the Fruitgrowers’ Conference today <t special committee reported on export matters, and recommended that a permanent committee should be established to which all export matters should be referred, the committee to consist of representatives of various districts, and to act in a consultative capacity with the Directors of the Federation, and departmental officers on all matters relating to Ihc export of trait. Tin- Nelson delegates opposed the proposal being quite satisfied to leave the export matters to the directors. The clause was adopted. \ arious remits dealing with the export of apples were discussed and the majority referred to the new committee.
