As a result of further negotiations, arrangements are being made for the Clyde Engineering Works to carry on, pending a final settlement of certain questions as to the interpretation of the contract with the Railway Commissioners. The Government has undertaker to tide the company over for a month, within xvhich time an inquiry will be held.
