Rhodes took four xvickets for 28 runs. Surrey, scoring 246 and 217 for txvo wickets, (Hobbs not out 151) beat Notts, who made 202 and 260. Leicester, xvith 367, beat Northants who scored 128 and 177. Gloucester, scoring 269 and 218, beat Somerset, xvho made 213 and 149. Kent scored 268 and then 433 for five xvickets, and declared against Hampshire who made 25S and 392, losing by 51 runs. Hardinge made 139, Woolley 188, and Mead 152. Woolley took six wickets for 97.
