ENGLISH CRICKET. LONDON, June 5. Warwickshire 239 (Quaife 107) and 14 for 0 beat Derbyshire 130 and 122. Howell (Warwick) took five wickets for 60 and Beswick (Derby) four for 66. Essex beat Worcester 49 and 175. Dixon scored 173 and Freeman 102. Louden took seven wickets for 22. Middlesex 143 and 230 for two wickets beat Sussex 156 and 214. Durston took seven wickets for 32. Hearne scored 84 (not out) and Hendren 96 (not out). EX-AUSTBALIAN REP’S DEATH. SYDNEY, June 6. The death is recorded of Frank Walters, who was a member of the 1890 Australian cricket team that visited England.
