LINKING UP. LONDON, April 30. The big scheme to link up the trans port workers and railway workers ii the National Tiansport Workers’ Fed eration has been approved by the var ions Executives, and will come up fo endorsement at the next annual con ference of the respective bodies. The Associated Society of Locomo five .Enginemen ami Firemen meets oj May r Hi, the Railway Clerks’ Assoeia tion on Alay 26, the T’ransport Workers Federation at Cardiff on June 8 and f and the National Union of Railwaymei at Bradford on July 3 to 7. immediately afterwards, if th scheme be endorsed, the inaugural con ference of the reconstituted Transpor Workers’ Federation will be held, am officers ami Executive appointed. It is estimated that the total mem bership of the Federation will be abou 1,100,006 —.100,0(10 of the transport, un ions and 7<>0,00<.) of lhe three railwa; unions.
