Grrnity Russian Famine Commit tee have raised the sum of .£2l 16 6, made up as follows:—Collection from Presbyterian Church, .£! 13 -; collection from Church of England, £1 4/6; coli lectod by -Miss Vera Hale, £1 I.' ; bene fit match bet ween Millerton Wanderers and Thistles (Soccer), £l7 IS/-; total £2l 16 6. The above amount Ims been seat direct to the secretary of IT- lb-d Cross Society, Wellington, by the c hairman (Mr John Dowgr: y). The committee is still actively raising further sums, and Grnnity will do its share. MILLERTON FUND. We have much pleasure in acknowledging the sum of £23 5s 9d; being the proceeds of a concert and dance held at Millerton, and forwarded to this office by Mis R. Corbett, lion secretary of th© Millerton ‘Russian Famine Fund.
