ARAHURA FAT STOCK SALE. For flic usual fixture at Aiahura on Monday 210 fat slieeji and 51 head of cattle were yarded for competition, there being a moderate attendance of buyers present. Prices did not show any improvement for beef anil towards the end of the sale several ] <w were passed. They were however subsequentiv soldi privately. Sheep however maintained the ruling prices and if anything were firmer tiiaii the piemoas Messrs W. Jeffries and Co. sold -.s follows: —Ninety hoggetts on account Mr F. Haddock, at 17/6; G 6 ewes and wethers at I'd 6, 66 ditto at •JO.'- ami 16 ewes and wethers at Is'6. On account Messrs Walsh Bros., two light bullocks at 16, two at L-- Im 6 four at I's 15 two sucker.-, at 11 5.'. three heifers at £5 on account of Mr F. Haddock, six steers at £5/5 -. one cow at £3.
