WEST COAST RUGBY UNION. ► The weekly executive meeting last night was attemled by Captain Cox (chair), Alessrs Heffernan, Nelson, Beaumont, Heajihy, O’Donnell, Gieseking, Wilson, Guy, Rothwell, Fairbairn, Perkins, and Jones (secretary). It was resolved that the three players ordered at last meeting to apologise to the referees (Mr A. Adams and Air Ilinksman) be now directed to do so in person, and that they remain suspended until such time as thye comply with this direction, the referees to report at next meeting on the matter. Air Colilns w: s appointed delegate for the Star Club, in place of Air A. S. Dunford, who has resigned the position. The New Zealand Union advised an alteration of the date of the InterIsland match to July 1, and also that nominations of players from this union be forwarded before June 13, with all particulars. It was decided to ask the Inangahua and Westland Sub-Unions if they wish to nominate any players whom they consider fit for selection for the South Island team, and if so, to forward their names to this union at once. It was decided, in response to a. direction from the New Zealand Union, to reipiest Westlaml Sub-Union to ascertain and advise whether Bannister will be able to join the Maori Rugby team to tour New South Wales. It was decided to summon a meeting of the Referees’ Association on Friday at 7 p.m. at Trinity Club Rooms. A letter was ordered to be sent to Marlborough Union asking if they could tour the Coast this yer r and bring with them the Seddon Shield. SEVE N - A - SID E TOUR N E Y. Regarding Saturday’s Seven-a-side Tourney it was decided that delegates of the clubs meet to-morrow at 7 p.m. at Trinity Club Rooms to arrange for the draw. It was decided th: t the trophies be as follows: Senior, Trotting Club Shield and match ball; junior, Nissen Shield and match ball; fourth grade, Reid Cup and match ball. A meeting of teachers was directed to bo held to ararnge for the draw and trophoes for the schools seven-a-side tourney (secondary, primary, and shrimps'), the latter to be under Gst 71b in weight. Mr lleaphy was asked to arrange a display of the trophies in shop windows. Officials were appointed as follow: — Referes, to be chosen by Referees’ Association; Marshal Mr J. Fairbairn; Meg: phone Steward, Air T. O’Donnell: Blackboard Steward, Mr G. E. I’erkins; Timekeepers, Captain Cox and Air Guy.
