The reason given is overstocking at the warehouses. The tobacco trust probably knows the real reason. The brand in question has probably been too hard to sell at 2/- a tin of 11 oz, hence a drop Io 1 ‘6. Though other tobacco reductions are being made, the combine says no general reduction is to be expected.
