BOXING.

CRIQUI v. FOX. BRITISH CHAMPION BEATEN. (Received Alay 30, 5.5 p.m.) LONDON, May 29. Criqui ami Joe Fox, the featherweight champion of Britain, fought at Holland Park for £5OO aside a bout of 20 rounds. Fox proved very tricky, and he used the back of the neck punch at every opportunity. Ho was easily leading on points at the half distance, but Criqui, in the 11th round, tried new tactics. He got his famous right to Fox’s jaw, and the Britisher went down for- a count of eight. Fox was groggy in the 12th round. Criqui had him cornered, and sent him to the boards three times, for long counts. The referee then stopped the fight, and awarded it to Criqui.
