THE WAGE-CUTS.
FOR ENGLISH WOOL WORKERS. LONDON. May 27. The wool textile industry has a uc\\ wages settlement in operation for 1: months. It involves a reduction of twe shillings to three shillings weekly in the pay of 200,000 operatives. The scale will be 75 per coat above pre-war for the time workers, and 65 per cent fol piece workers.
