An f : gent will be sent to endeavour to persuade Freneh-Cana dians, of whom there are several millions living in the New England States and the United States, to return Io their native province, and take up farms. The Government is clearing 15 acres on each plot of ground given to a settler, and is to build a house ami a barn free • ' charge.
