PROCEEDINGS AT HOKITIKA. At Hokitika on 'Fuesday the Winter School lectures were well attended, mid proved very interesting. At the Town Hall, the W.L.A. tutor, Air 11. Belshaw, dealt with Economics in Dairying mid at Si. Andrew’s Hail, Professor Shelley lectured to the school teachers on ‘‘Education.” The genera! lecture at the Town Hall at JI o'clock was on the ‘‘Economic Out- , look’’ by I’iofessor C’ondliffe. Professor Shelli'y lectured to teachers, on •’Modern ’J'endencies in Education.’’ Air N. P. Neat, B.Ag., lectured on ‘‘The Practice and Science of Agricult u re.' ’ The school’s programme to-day is as follows:—9.3o a.m. to J 0.30 a.m., J’armers, ‘•.Pasture Grasses,” lecture by Al r N. P. Neil. B.Ag.; teachers, “Modern Tendencies in Education,’’ Professor J. Shelley. ’’ 10.30 a.m. to 11.30 a.m., lecture, “ Scion I i tic Principles of Stockbreeding, ” Mr J.
