Xo doubt there will be quite a number of our readers interested in the qn-ery advertisement that appeared in yesterday's issue and on perusal of our advertising columns will lerrn that on Monday next a long-night euchre and dance is to take place in St. Columba Hall (under the auspices of St. Columba Club) in aid of the Russian Famine Fund. Tickets are already on sale and : re meeting with a good demand, and everything points to a very enjoyable evening. It is to be hoped, that lovers of the light fantastic will roll up in large numbers and assist what is undoubtedly Ihe most deserving appeal that has ever yet been made, on the I Coast — the appeal of the starving.— Vdvt.
