Santos Dumont, one of the first airmen, who is now cultle-ranching in Brazil, is visiting Paris, and intends participating in the Aero Club’s (hand Prix on May 15. Although declaring his flying days to be over, he is still keenly interested in air matters, and thinks his tiny “Demoselle” was the right idea. Had the constructors endeavoured to perfect a small very light machine, flying would now, he said, be a most popular sport. ap
