REDUCTION RESENTED. SYDNEY. Jl'ay 13. ' The minority report of the Board of Trade favoured £3/15/9 as the basic -wage, contending that £3/18- was too high, and that the cost of living reductions warranted a decrease of 6/9, The employers believe the decision will assist, to relieve unemployment. Itlany prefer not to reduce Tire wages I if the employees will work longer hours and increase production. 'The general feeling is that, the trades unions will accept the decision, but the Labour Council threatens an industrial upheaval when the reductions are made
