SAFE ROBBERY.

WELLINGTON, May 6. Reginald A\ illiam Gunn, taxi-driver, was arrested yesterday at Masterton, charged with receiving about 28 sovereigns and £l2 in silver, the proceeds of a safe robbery, at Paekakariki, for which offence two men, Beil and Carmichael, are now serving sentences. Gunn was remanded. J: mes Cecil Oliver was arrested last week in connection with the same offence, and was also remanded.
