DAMAGES AGAINST SHIPPING COMPANY.
WELLINGTON, May 1. In the three cases against the Northern Steamship Co., claiming damages for failure to receive fruit on board tho Rarawa at Onehunga., the Appeal Court by three to one (Sir R. -Stout dissenting) allowed tho appeal. one case was renfitted to the Supreme Court for assessment of unmakes. Plaintiffs were allowed one set of costs on the middle scale, as in a case from a distance.
