BY YOUNG COMMERCIAL TRAVELLER. AUCKLAND, May 1. Frank Jocelyn Johnstone Fletcher a commercial traveller, aged 24, admit ted a series of charges of obtainin’ goods on cost by false pretence, and al so two charges of theft. The tota amount involved is £536/11/10. Hi: thefts included four diamond rings, val ued at £lO6. The accused made various represen tations as to his business and stand ing to several people. The rings ” given to him by a woman to wear, am she also advanced him money, which he promised to return. He was committed for sentence.
