TRIBUTES TO ARMSTRONG. HE RETIRES. MELBOURNE, April 1. Armstrong was presented with a testimonial and £2700 sterling by Air Hughes (Federal Premier) in the Town Hall to-day. Replying to the tributes, Air Armstrong definitely reiterated the statements that he is retiring from international and interstate cricket.
