I have been requested by a large number of citizens of this town, to mention the fact through your paper, when rewards are being handed out for bravery in connection with the recent surf disaster, that the name of that plucky little hero, Joseph Hunt is not f< rgottvn. He is worthy of recognition when you consider the fact of a lad weighing only 7 stone, who brought the man Banks to the shore in a most exhausted condition against such murderous waves and considering that the man Banks weight 11 stone, the feat makes itself more presentable to o I ’m with average mind.
