Steel and Miss Blumsky returned from Kumara on Tuesday. Mr Anderson, of Green, Shields and Day, Ltd., was here on Wednesday, and upon enquiries this scribe found that Mr Anderson had been making arrangements for railing some machinery from the tunnel to the power house. Air E. Cameron, Traffic Alanager, Greymouth, paid us a visit on Thursday. The coaches made the trip over the hill on Thursday. Although it was very risky. A couple of accidents were narrowly averted. It took ; n average of two hours to make the journey.
