COMBINED TRADES PICNIC
An enthusiastic, meeting of the members of the Combined Trades was held on Tuesday evening, in the Druids Hall. Mr R. Barrowman was voted to the chair. It was decided to hold a picnic at Te Kinga on Wednesday, February 8, a majority of those present being unanimous that Te Kinga, is an ideal place for a picnic. Grassy paddocks are handy, and Lake Moana is close enough for launch trips. Mr T. Sinnot- was elected secretary. By the enthusiasm shown by those present this year’s picnic promises to eclipse all others.
