COAL OUTPUT.

FROM BULLER DISTRICT. The Secretary to the Westport Harbour Board has forwarded the following returns showing the output of coal from various mines on the West Coast and the quantity exported from Westport during the month of December last. The details of the output, with the export quantity given in parenthesis, are:— Westport Coal Company, Ltd., 33,492 tons (34,7701 tons); WestportStockton Coal Company, Ltd., 7933 tons 12 cwt (7864 tons 13 cwt); Coal Creek Mining Party, 1120 tons 14 cwt (1120 tons 14 cwt); Mulholland and Party, 491 tons 2 cwt (491 tons 2 cwt); Pratt and Party, 542 tons 12 cwt (542 tons 12c. wt); G. Mulholland, 103 tons 13 cwt (103 tons 13 cwt); Seddonvillle Mining Party, 118 tons 12cwt (118 tons 12 cwt); Dove and Party, 6.11 tons 17 cwt. Total, 44,543 tons 8 cwt tons 2 cwt). The output of coke from the Westport Coal Company, Ltd., was 129 tons for the month and 134 tons llcwt was exported. During December 45,600 feet of timber was exported.
