ORDINARY MEETING. 'The ordinary meeting of the Grey Hospital and Charitable Aid 'Board was held last evening. Present: Messrs J. McCarthy, F. Williams, J. Grvaney, J. W. Hannan, K. SkogTajd. W; 11. Parfitt. J. Irvine, and Rev T. N. Cuttle. 'Hie chairman*in opening the meeting extended a welcome to new members and expressed his pleasure at the re-election of most of the old members. The Board of Trade had increased the price of flour, and thus they were compelled to ask for the increase. Mr Skogund said that if they allowed the contract to be broken they would have every other firm which was under contract to the Board aSßfng tor am increase. He moved that no action bo taken. Mr Irvine seconded the motion which was carried. From Duncan McLean, re sugar 'lbl* Secretary frqpoTted that the Hospital had 40 bags m hand, which was sufficient for 10 months. It was decided that the Borough Engineer, and Public Works Engmeer he asked to visit the Hospital amd report on the matter of an emergency water supply for the Hospital. TU Chairman, Rev Cuttle, and Mr Sk „ I lund were appointed as a commi ee J accompany the Engineers. It was further decided that the cal plumbers be asked to visit ie Hospital and give an estimate of cost of renewing defective spouting. Mr Skoglund gave motion that a special meeting be held to discuss possible alterations and the revision of the Board's by-laws.—The Secretary was instructed to obtain as many copies ns possible >of other Boards' by-laws.
