IRELAND MORE CONFLICTS WITH POLICE. LONDON, April G. Simultaneous Sinn Fein attacks were made on the police all over midTyrone last night. A l ined Republicans forced some soldiers to drive two military lorries that were transporting Hour from barges, to a selected spot. The flour was then emptied into the canal. The lorries were set on lire and destroyed. SOLDIERS ■SHOOT CIVILIANS.
LONDON, April 7. A military lorry, ambushed in Har- ■ court, street, Dublin, returned the fire. They killed two civilians and wounded three others. A DESERTER KILLED. LONDON, April G. At an inquest, on the murder of ’rhonias Shannon, a farmer, of KilTush (Clare), (‘xidenci* disclosed his assassination as being the outcome of Shannon’s secession from the Sinn Fein movement. Shannon acted as tho Magistrate of a Sinn Fein court, but he criticised the court’s methods and 1 withdrew his active participation in ihe movement.
