The Presbyterian Synod concurred with the Church Board in the appoint: incut of Herbert Ramsay, M.A., as Processor of the English language and. iitcrature at Otagp University. Professor Ramsay is aged 34. He is at present Assistant Professor in West Australia, and had just been appointed head, of his department there; He is a graduate of i St. Andrew's, Aberdeen, in a first-class in classics.
