TRACK WORK AT OMOTO.
Yesterday morning several horses were worked on the outside grass track. Before breakfast Cheer Up was first to woric, 'using the sand track. He went a couple of rounds at half-pace, but he seemed to blow a bit at the end of his task. ' F. Higgot's team, Gold Problem, Perrier, Bestir, and Ladify, were restricted to half and three-quarter-pace the reverse "way around and scorned to do it well. Carnbrae beat Kolyma .aver five furlongs in 3.8 J. "Waikohu reeled off half a mile the reverse way. * Bunny slipped over half a mile in 53£ sec. Lady Gazeley ran half a mile the xe-
verse way in 54scc, but- seemed to blow very hard. Mickey Free hopped off at the six furlong postj picking up Woodrow at the half-mile peg. They finished together, cutting out the six furlougs in 1.20 4-5> finishing the last half in 55sec. This Avtys easily the best gallop of the 'morning. After breakfast Benefit was first to work. He ran to the end of six furlongs in 1.22. * Sleepy Head ran out six furlongs in 1.22 i, but seemed to blow a bit at the finish. Steepholm easily accounted for Eoyal Dragoon over six furlongs in 1.24 1-5. Jewel Piece was no good to Rosevcar over five furlongs, run in 1.12-J: ft Grand Jewel was led aToud -to the half mile, but Tefused to allow the boy to get up, so she was brought back to paddock. She seems to have lost her head altogether. Royal Visit was on the track, but was not worked.
