CHRISTCHUBCH BESOLOTIONS.
CHRISTCHURCH, December 17. ■Mr J. McCombs, M.P., gavo a public address to-night on the 9/- bonu3, there being a good attendance. . On the motion, of Mr D. G. Sullivan, M.P., the following motion was carried: "That as by any reasonable method of computation the 9s bonus is duo and should Kfl maintained, this meeting is of opinion that every effort should be made to secure its pay-, ment. On the motion of Mr E. X Hownrd. M.P. it was resolved that every 'effort should be made to secure for the workers a r»aritv of wages with the rates prevailing in 19]^. ■ COURT'S "MUNIFICENT" GRANT. Mr R. D. Martin, Secretary of the Canterbury Retailers' Shop Assistants' Union who is at present at Greymouth as the local unions representative on the Conciliation CounciT has received advice from Mr McCullough, (representative of the.
