WAGES REDUCED.
NEW YORK, December 14. The Jgsxtile mill owners at New Bedford (Massachusctte) have announced their intention to make a 22* per cent, reduction in workmen's wages. This will affect 100,000 workers, New Bedford being one of the greatest national textile manufacturing centres in the United States.
