FOR WITHDRAWAL OF ARMY

Greenwood read in Parliament a telegram from the Lord M a .vor of Cork twul Sinn Fein Commo.iers alleging that during the week men and women in Cork were held in the streets and robbed, and unoffending citizens publicly ' whipped and shot. It is believed some were burned alive in their houses. The telegram demands the imediate withdrawal of the Army of Occupation. Sir H. Greenwood said a 'full enquiry was proceeding. The signatories of the telegram had been a-sked to give evidence under safe conduct.
