AUSTRALIAN WOOL POOL
FAVOURED BY HOME GOVERNMENT.
LONDON, December 14. Notwithstanding the remarks cabled earlier",, -tho Australian press learns, on good authority, that the British authorities regard the Australian wool scheme favourably, but with certain reservation." It is felt that' duo weight must be given to the Commonwealth Governments views. It is thought no better successor to the wool branch of the Ministry of Munitions could be found than the proposed Australian Wool Association, provided the British Government approves of the directors official circular. It is not believed the Australians are attempting to eitforjce /unnoitural prifVs. Such an achievement is impossible in svny case.
