SYDNEY. December 10. The latest reports from the wheat centres indicate the storm damage, thoimli. undoubtedly serious, is not as v extensive as anticipated. T.he weather is now fine, and, given a continuance of this, much f?rain, which appeared lost, may, with care and. pat. ience, be recovered, In some places continued rain has 'caused germination of ripened wheat, but not extensively. The pesssimi&m wliich marked the earlier reports is greatly lessened. Growers are facing the situation courageously and resourcefully.
