The Otira workers decided unanimously to link up with the New Zealand Workers' Organisataion. This action brings nearly all the organised workers on Public Works into the New Zealand Workers Union. Quite a chapter of accidents befel Mrs Mclntosh of Blaketown while on her way to -the Coast from Wellington yesterday. Tlie Waihini arrived late and Mrs Mclntosh bustled to catch the Authurs Pass express. Telling a porter to put her little boy in the, train she hurried away to see after some of her luggage. When she returned she found the Authurs Pass train had left Engaging a. motor car, Mrs Mclntosh overtook the train at Rolleston only to find that her boy was not on board After much telegraphing it was discovered that the boy had been placed on the Dunedia express and was then on his road south. The distracted mother was forced to return to Christchurch to meet her boy who was returned by the next train coming north. At the meeting of the Grey AccliJnatisation Society on Monday night it was stated that 115 trout licenses had been issued this season. Some good catches had been reported. Sergt. J.
