MILITARY FORCE SAMBUSHED.
GREENWOOD'S RESENTMENT. (Reed. December 1, 5.5 p.m.) LONDON, November 30. In the House of Commons, Sir H. Greenwood (Chief Secretary) read pome telegrams regarding the Kiljnichacl ambush, which showed that the ambuscaders consisted of from SO to 100 men. They were clad in khaki, with steel trench helmets. They fired from both sides of a road. There was also a direct and enfilade fire. Some of the Crown men were disarmed and brutally murdered, and their bodies lined, all money and valuables being taken, and clothing Tobbed from the corpses. Sir H. Greenwood said he thought that with fifteen ex-officers in the late war lying dead, the House ■would wish to continue the discussion in the face of a challenge to the authority of' the House and civilisation. Captain ATcher Redmond said that none in the House would accuse him, or those associated with him, of feeling anything but the deepest regret at ?uch an outrage
